OpinionPokémon TCG Announces New Team Battle Format “Pokémon Team Masters”
On September 28, the Pokémon Trading Card Game announced a new team battle format called “Pokémon Team Masters,” with the inaugural event scheduled for January 23‑24, 2027 in Seoul, and the top teams earning spots at the 2027 World Championships. Duel Masters also unveiled a new 7‑cost card “Super Romakilkasuku, Connection of Trump” for the October 17 “Trump Immortal!! Duel King FOREVER 2026” set, while Weiss Schwarz’s “anemoi” set with first‑edition autograph cards releases on October 2, and the nationwide “TRADING CARD ALIVE” tournament drew about 1,800 participants.
