ToyHot is an unofficial, independent industry news index for designer and collectible toys. It is not affiliated with, authorized or endorsed by any brand or company it covers.
The site covers consumer and industry news only; political and social news is filtered out.
What we show
Each item shows only a title, a short AI-written summary (at most 200 Chinese characters) and a link to the original source. Full articles are not reproduced; follow the link to read them on the source site. Original content belongs to its publishers.
Product images, where shown, are loaded from the original image URL on the source site with a source credit. Images are not re-hosted.
Brand and product names are used only to identify the subject of reporting. Brand logos are not used as decoration.
How we collect news
Our crawler identifies itself honestly, with this user agent:
toyhot-bot/1.0 (+https://toyhot.net/terms; contact@toyhot.net; news index, respects robots.txt)
It obeys each site's robots.txt and waits at least 2 seconds between requests to the same site (longer when the site's robots.txt sets a Crawl-delay). It never bypasses CAPTCHAs, login walls or paywalls. When a page cannot be read directly, it may use Cloudflare's browser rendering service instead — only where robots.txt allows it, and within a daily cap.
We do not scrape web pages of Xiaohongshu, Weibo, Douyin, Dewu, Xianyu or Qiandao.
AI-generated content
Item titles and summaries, report leads (daily, weekly and monthly) and event digests are AI-generated and labelled as such. AI can be wrong; the original source prevails.

Company filings and financial results are summarized factually, with a link to the original. Nothing on this site is investment advice.
